Luke grew up in Mt. Gilead, OH. He felt called by God to go into full-time vocational ministry while in high school. Luke attended Mt. Vernon Nazarene University with a major in Educational Ministries. From college, Luke moved to Chicago to work with at-risk youth. Chicago is also where Luke met his wife, Megan. Luke and (eventually) Megan moved back to Ohio where Luke completed his Master of Ministry degree through MVNU and Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. Immediately after finishing school the couple moved to Greer, South Carolina where Luke served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Covenant UMC. Both he and Megan are excited to serve FVC as they continue in their life together. Luke enjoys spending time with Megan, playing basketball, skiing, listening to music, playing his guitar, writing,and watching movies.
