“DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS” CLASS—A spiritual gift is a significant ability given to each believer by the Holy Spirit who thus equips and moves members of the church to serve in special ways for Christ & His Kingdom. Join us on Sunday, September 19 in Room 517 at 9 a.m. or in Room 505 at 10:30 a.m. for this class, taught by Bill Slater, to discover your spiritual gift; we all have them.
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. Eighty percent of the money is used in world mission areas, and twenty percent goes to multicultural congregations in the United States and Canada. Alabaster funds help provide land for most Work & Witness projects. The entire offering goes toward the construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers. The Alabaster Offering gets to the mission field via several avenues. The most widely used is the Alabaster Box. Individuals are challenged to regularly contribute the cost of items they desire but do not need. The boxes also serve as reminders to pray for those people who will benefit from Alabaster buildings. During the month of September, bring in your small Alabaster Box filled with loose change and put it in the large box in the lobby—thanks for participating!
"LIFE" will be meeting Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in Room 513 beginning September 12. Life is an adventure filled with all kinds of joys, sorrows, ups, downs, pleasures and disappointments. How we navigate the life we have been given is a great challenge filled with every possibility imaginable. However, if we don't watch our step, if we take a wrong turn, we can slide into a place that is difficult to move out of. Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10)
In this group, we will take time to examine and discuss just that, LIFE. We will dialog about the challenges we face every day, what truth is and how we can apply it, and how we can have life to the full, while not getting tangled in the things of the world that steal the life God offers. Come join us and explore LIFE to the full. For more information or to register, please contact Gregg or Linda Stirzel at (610) 630-5870 or email stirz@aol.com.

Men's Fraternity is about you - discovering your strengths, recognizing your opportunities, strengthening your relationships, and making new ones. Through humorous insight and biblical wisdom, each study in this series addresses common challenges men face and how, together, we can overcome them. The true power of Men's Fraternity lies in connecting men together to learn and listen to each other. No gimmicks-just an informal 35 minute teaching period followed by 20-30 minutes for men to gather in groups to talk about what they've heard, how it applies to their everyday lives, and offer their mutual support. Sessions will begin September 28, 2010 and run through March 22, 2011. The Tuesday meetings will be from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and hosted weekly by Bill Slater. Stop by the Welcome Center for more information and to register.
