The New Testament teaches us that the first Christians were formed into a group of twelve by Jesus (Matthew 4:18-22). The early church met in homes and shared their lives with each other (Acts 2:42-47).  Connect Groups are a place where participants experience authentic community and spiritual growth the way Jesus taught. It is an environment where God is active in the lives of its members and where people change.

Connect Groups are the place where you can connect with others here at Fairview Village. We believe those who participate in groups not only feel a connection with others in their group, but more of a connection with the church, with their faith, and with God.

Connect Groups are available for individuals, couples, men only, women only, with kids, for those who are young in their spiritual journey, as well as for those who are mature in their faith. Connect Groups are available for special interests, learning new skills, doing community service... almost anything you can think of - we probably have a group for it!  Connect Group promotions and sign-ups occur 3 times a year... and run for three month semesters, in Fall, Spring, and Summer. Promotion and sign-up months are August, December, and April.

Steps to register for a group: (1) Watch for an updated Connect Group Catalog that will be available prior to each sign-up month, (2) Browse the catalog for a group that fits your schedule, need, or interest for the coming semester, (3) Register for a group during promotion month at the Connect Group Table in the foyer following either the 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. service.
