Sports are a great way for children to learn about teamwork, respect for authority and sportsmanship. With an Upward sport, these key essentials are included to create the best sporting experience for every child that participates. Each Upward Sport is designed to reveal the winner in every child. Every child plays. Every child learns. Every child IS a Winner!

Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in first through sixth grade.

Upward provides first class, organized and detailed sports programming in basketball, flag football and cheerleading.

Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a "win at all costs" mentality associated with today's sports world.

FAQ's
Does the church have programs for my children?

Our Family Ministries Team is dedicated to providing the highest quality children's program for children of nursery age up to 5th grade. The programs run concurrently with Sunday morning services at 9am and 10:30am. From Nursery, Preschool DeepZone, Elementary BibleZone, The Vine for Middle schoolers, Solomon's Porch for High schoolers, there is a place here for your children from infant to adulthood!  After just one Sunday, your children will be begging to come back to church!

What is DeepZone? BibleZone?

DeepZone is the name of the Small Group/Sunday School program for Preschool children and will meet at 9 a.m. and 10:30am Sunday mornings in Rooms 305 and 309.  BibleZone is for children K-5, they meet in the Green Room at 9 a.m. and 10:30a.m. S'MORE family Worship happens in the S'MORE Theatre at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Many families attend S'MORE together at one of those times, then adults attend worship, while children attend one of their programs.

Can I bring my preschooler to S'MORE?

Yes! Though S'MORE is designed with K-5th grades in mind, you are welcome to bring your preschooler to sit with you.
