Nursery Sunday Mornings

Our desire is to make the nursery for the infants and toddlers an engaging and safe place where your children can experience God's love for them and be cared for. God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever!

The Nursery is open every Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the worship services. If you have any questions, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

First time at Nursery?

It is our desire to create an engaging, irresistible environment for your preschooler. Here are some policies and procedures we have put into place to help ensure your child's safety and care.

Out of Harm's Way
The entrance to our Nursery is monitored before, during, and after each service. You and your child will each receive a corresponding numbered security tag. You must present your portion of the tag when you pick up your child---no exceptions. All of our volunteers are carefully trained and screened to ensure the safest environment possible.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Children are accepted into the classroom 15 minutes prior to the service and must be signed in by their parent or guardian. Children should be picked up immediately following the service unless paged beforehand.

Good Health
Children who show signs or symptoms of a fever or any other contagious diseases are not accepted.

Enrollment
It is imperative that a guest registration form be filled out for each child visiting the Nursery. At this point, your child will be added to our database and assigned to a permanent classroom. Our Host Team will greet you and help you with the enrollment process.

Tips & Reminders
Please label all of your children's belongings. We discourage parents from allowing their children to bring their own toys into class with them as it is easy for them to be misplaced or forgotten.

What should I provide for my child in the nursery?

We ask that you provide the following items - when appropriate:

  • A diaper bag which should include:
    • diapers
    • wipes
    • a snack
    • bottle or sippy cup

Will my nursery child have a snack during the service?

We ask that you provide the food that your infant will eat. We have a refrigerator for storage and a microwave oven for heating food and bottles. We will discard any bottles or food left in the nursery. If your child is in the walker or toddler classroom, we will provide a snack and milk or water for them to drink. We also provide hypo-allergenic pretzels for those who have food allergies or special dietary restrictions. Please make us aware if your child has any special care needs.

What are the check-in and check-out procedures for the nursery?

Children must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian. When a parent/guardian checks in a child (infants through 2 years of age), they fill out a name tag for their child and place it on their child's back.  The parent/guardian keeps the corresponding numbered stub.  This will be used to match the number on the child's name tag on his/her back.  The parent is also given a pager for their child.  We will only return the child to the parent/guardian with the corresponding numbered tag and when the corresponding pager is returned. Even if we know the parent, we will not return the child to anyone other than the person with the identification. Keeping your children safe and secure is a priority for our church.
