Sunday Services Prayer is an essential part of Celebration Services on Sunday mornings. Many times the Pastor will invite people in the congregation to the altar for prayer. Although there is nothing magical about the altar (it's simply a good place and position to pray), the Prayer Ministry Team understands how essential it is to have corporate prayer around the altar. Also, the Prayer Room is open after every service with counselors who will pray with and for you. The Prayer Room The Prayer Room is open every Sunday from 9A.M.-10A.M. with Prayer counselors who will pray with/for you. The Prayer Room is located at the west exit of the Worship Center. In addition, if you are a Fairview Village Church attendee or live in our vicinity, you may use the Prayer Room at any time when you want to sit and pray. In this room we've indicated six main areas of prayer: Local Requests, Those in Authority, Spiritual Warfare, Children and Youth, Social Compassion, and Global Missions. Prayer books to guide you are also available. Prayer Requests At Fairview Village Church, we wish to seek the Lord together. We want to connect our community together as we offer Prayer for one another. We echo God's Words, " My house shall be called a house of prayer." There are several ways to submit a Prayer Request. You can keep the the prayer request confidential, or you can share it with others.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" and "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:9). You said my salvation would be the result of Your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me (John 3:5-6, 15-16; Romans 8:9-11) and that if I would ask, You would fill me with Your Spirit. I take You at Your Word. I confess that Jesus is Lord. And I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for coming into my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen. |
