The WHO is a group for widows, led by widows, who care for and support one another. There are monthly gatherings that include a time of fellowship and sometimes a speaker or special activity for the women. “As I have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10 The WHO Mission: “Women ministering to other women, to reach beyond themselves, to make new relationships, to use their spiritual gifts to help women who are going through the same experiences of widowhood, and to enable women to get in touch with their painful feelings and how to deal with them. This gives us permission to find our own pathway through the challenges and dilemmas we face. We want to be encouragers to each other, to develop understanding, and feel that we are loved.” On the Third Friday of every month, WHO gathers together and meets (typically at the Church in Room 517) at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted.
